Jendog Lonewolf is a touring, Two-Spirit Black Native HipHop MC, Cultural Worker, and Photographer from Bushwick, Brooklyn who navigates a myriad of spaces challenging stereotypes + issues at the intersections of class, race, gender, and sexuality while performing Conscious Hip Hop around the world from universities to living room gatherings. Jendog is a proud member of People's Music Network for Songs of Freedom and Struggle as well as the New York State Poor People's Campaign Arts & Culture team.
Jendog Lonewolf is a Two Spirit BlackNative Photographer, Hip Hop Lyricist, and Cultural Worker from Bushwick, Brooklyn. She navigates a myriad of spaces challenging stereotypes & issues at the intersections of class, race, gender and sexuality.
Jendog has gracefully shared stages with Harry Belafonte, Nile Rodgers, Desmond Tutu, Joan Baez; recorded with Grammy® winner Dan Zanes and his wife, Claudia Eliaza Zanes, on several Hip Hop-Folk song collaborations, including a recent release titled, Pieces of Home, on Smithsonian Folkways Recordings. She toured South Africa, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, South India, the US, London, and Toronto, as one half of the Hip Hop/Spoken Word duo, Brooklyn Dreamwolf. She performed at SOA Watch (The School of the Americas (SOA) renamed WHINSEC (Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation) and their 30th anniversary series; Brooklyn Pride’s 25th anniversary; at War Resister’s League’s 90th anniversary and more recently, at their 100th anniversary. Some of the institutions to which she’s brought her performance include Stanford, Oberlin, Syracuse University, New York University, University of Michigan, a pandemic-cancelled set at Minnesota State Mankato, University of Chicago, and many more. As a Teaching Artist working with elementary, middle, and high school youth in Brooklyn, NY, she taught Hip Hop Lyricism. Jendog is a proud member of the People’s Music Network as well as the New York State Poor People’s Campaign’s Arts & Culture Team.
